This Copyright Policy (“Policy”) describes the intellectual property and copyright practices applicable to the Services provided by Learnyst Insight Private Limited (“Learnyst,” “Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), including the Learnyst learning management platform, websites, mobile applications, APIs, educational tools, content hosting services, communities, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

Learnyst respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects all users of the Services to do the same. This Policy establishes the procedures for reporting alleged copyright infringement, responding to notices of infringement, and addressing repeat infringement in accordance with applicable intellectual property laws and industry practices.

1. Ownership of Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise expressly stated, the Services, including platform technology, software, designs, interfaces, graphics, trademarks, logos, text, content, documentation, and related materials owned or provided by Learnyst, are protected by applicable intellectual property and copyright laws.

Users retain ownership of the content, educational materials, media, course content, documents, videos, assessments, and other materials they create, upload, or distribute through the Services, subject to applicable agreements, licenses, and platform rights necessary for Learnyst to operate and provide the Services.

Users are solely responsible for ensuring that they possess all necessary rights, permissions, licenses, authorizations, and consents relating to any content made available through the Services.

2. Prohibited Copyright Infringement

Users may not upload, post, distribute, transmit, store, share, display, reproduce, copy, modify, or otherwise make available any content through the Services that:

  • Infringes copyrights, trademarks, patents, trade secrets, or other intellectual property rights;

  • Violates licensing restrictions or confidentiality obligations;

  • Includes unauthorized copies of educational materials, videos, software, documents, or proprietary content; or

  • Misappropriates or unlawfully uses third-party intellectual property.

Unauthorized copying, redistribution, downloading, recording, sharing, resale, or piracy of educational content, digital products, videos, assessments, or learning materials hosted on Learnyst is strictly prohibited.

Learnyst reserves the right to remove allegedly infringing content and take appropriate enforcement actions where necessary.

3. Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe that content made available through the Services infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, you may submit a written copyright infringement notification to Learnyst.

Copyright infringement notices should include sufficient information to enable Learnyst to identify and investigate the reported issue, including:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized representative;

  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed;

  • Identification of the allegedly infringing material and its location on the Services;

  • Contact information of the reporting party, including name, address, telephone number, and email address;

  • A statement that the reporting party has a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or applicable law; and

  • A statement that the information provided is accurate and, where applicable, made under penalty of perjury that the reporting party is authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

4. Counter-Notification Process

If a user believes that content removed or disabled pursuant to a copyright complaint was removed in error or misidentification, the user may submit a counter-notification containing:

  • The user’s physical or electronic signature;

  • Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and its prior location;

  • A statement under penalty of perjury that the user has a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification; and

  • The user’s contact information and consent to applicable legal jurisdiction where required.

Learnyst may review and process counter-notifications in accordance with applicable laws, platform policies, and operational procedures.

5. Repeat Infringer Policy

Learnyst respects the intellectual property rights of others and maintains a policy for addressing repeat copyright infringement. In appropriate circumstances and at its sole discretion, Learnyst may suspend, restrict, disable, or terminate the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers or who repeatedly violate the intellectual property rights of others through the Services.

Learnyst reserves the right to remove or disable access to allegedly infringing content and take appropriate enforcement action in accordance with applicable law, this Policy, and other applicable Learnyst policies and agreements.

6. Changes to this Copyright Policy

Learnyst may update or revise this Copyright Policy periodically to reflect:

  • Changes in legal or regulatory requirements;

  • Developments in intellectual property laws or industry practices;

  • Operational or platform changes; or

  • Business, compliance, or security requirements.

Updated versions will be published with the revised effective date.

Continued use of the Services following updates to this Policy constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy to the extent permitted under applicable law.
